McKing deploys staff to countries around the world to provide short- and long-term technical assistance and support to government programs and to community-based organizations and initiatives.

Working overseas poses many challenges. Preparation and careful planning are key to ensuring a safe and successful international work experience. Because we are culturally competent and aware, respectful, and linguistically skilled, our staff can meet in-country program needs, working collaboratively with partner organizations, foreign governments, and local firms. Working abroad, McKing has learned to coordinate in-country leadership, management, and organizations as we adapt to different cultures and practices while maintaining the highest standards. We provide technical assistance and consultations through trainings, assessments (capacity and sustainability), program development and management, and evaluations.
